Hello Friends!
I never update, but really how many people want to read about my boring life!

I just got done with a microbiology test, I dislike this class; mostly just cuz it's so freaking boring! But it's over in a week, which is stressful, a 3 month class crammed into a month?!? What was I thinking. But it's nice too, cuz I would of died of boredom otherwise. I have to do this el stupido project on Retroviruses, but the Dr. didn't really explain it well: I'm either doing Feline Leukemia Virus or HIV...

Besides all that nonesense. I've been listening to the full audio cast recordings of Tamora Pierce's Emelan series' They are pretty great. I was wary at first, I've read those books since...forever? And I have voices for them all already. But I grew to love Rosethorn's voice and that's what really matters, she would of been a deal-breaker. Although I don't like the other teacher, Lark's, voice....meh

And while I was doing that,(since you can't do practically anything without missing bits of the speaking) I was learning to knit! I'm knitting a purple scarf, it's a little wide, and might be a bit too long, but it's coming out great for being my first knitting project. ^_^

On the tv front: I watched the Torchwood miniseries: Children Of Earth. It was EPIC. And it renewed my interest in Dr. Who, so I think I'll be able to finally finish season 4. I've been putting it off, cuz I don't really like Donna....But I really want to see the finale; ROSE!!!! But I've been a good girl and not skipped any episodes ^_^
So the new season of Torchwood....I like Gwen well enough, I liked her more then Yanto at least, but my fave characters were Tosh and Owen....and well....*sigh* The bummer thing about the miniseries...it kinda made me hate Jack alittle...I mean I know he really had NO choice at the end...
Well if he doesn't come back for season 4...it's just going to be Gwen, Reese (GOD I HOPE HE DOESN'T JOIN TORCHWOOD >.>) and HOPEFULLY Loiuse? The PA girl. She was great, I liked her a lot.
I also watched the first episode of a BBC series called "Being Human" it was interesting, but I don't know where they are going to go with it...Basically it's about a Ghost, A werewolf, and a vampire all living together. *shrugs* we'll see.
AND WAREHOUSE 13!
It's totally syfy (BLAH ON THAT NAME) trying to steal everything cool about other shows and shoving them into one. But it works. It's a xfiles/The librarian/bones mishmash and I like it! It does help that both the main characters are gorgeous.
The first episode was maybe not that impressive, but it gets you interested, and the second and third are each better then the last!
4th episode is on tonight, and I can't wait!
NEXT: Eureka. I've been wanting to watch that show since it first came out, but just never got around to it. Then I got into so many shows last year, I just didn't have room. But now I'm all caught up (except Dr. who...) and it's the summer so there's nothing new (except Warehouse 13). I'm on the 4th episode of the first season, and so far I love it! It's well done, the characters are great, and the science is just this side of believable while still being impressive and "out-there" Although on sidereel there is a comment saying "stop watching this, 3rd season not worth it" But I'll get around to that when it comes.

TOPH!! OR lack there of! there is apparently no toph in the upcoming Airbender movie!! I'm so sad right now....although. Even though this is a live action of a cartoon and thus means that it should be AWFUL, The promo pics of it look really cool. EVEN THOUGH, the skin colors of the water and the fire people are switched...
Also, I don't know if I like or dislike that fact that they cut Toph...one of the main characters but they could keep Suki, who was I guess a more main charcter near the end, but for the majority of the series was just Sokka's love interest. Don't get me wrong, I freaking loved Suki, I wish I had fan skills like that girl! Now that I think about it, I am glad they kept her, at least one of my fave girls was kept!
But I want to know who's going to teach Aang earthbending now...

I got a new laptop today! It's very cool, it's shiny and new and neato.
It's vista and a toshiba, compared to the windows xp and gateway I had before, so it's taking a little bit of getting used to. But I like it so far ^_^

I went to the showboat yesterday. (for those who don't live in MN or in the Cities, the showboat is this old steamboat that used to travel the Mississippi but now is anchered over on/by heritage island(i think) and the MN liberal arts students put on shows there in the summer, with traditional olios and stuff) It's really cool and a lot of fun. They did 'Is there a Doctor in the House' it was an adapted version on Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid. Which funny enough, my school did just last semester. It was good, although they did something a little diff this year and added the olios into the show, before (or at least the last two years) they were in between the scenes but they had their own theme. This time, they were songs written and directed to go along WITH the scene, like to enhance the characters. Idk if I liked it, it was good. But I liked it the other way too.

I brought my N64 to winona this last trip. We're all very excited. My family has all the traditional games Mario64, Mario Party, Banjo Kazooie, Zelda, harvest moon (haha), rayman 2 ^_^
I also bought Pokemon Snap today ^_^ I love that game! I 'beat' it in like 3 hrs...I'm going through trying to do the challenge scores now, and get the last 3 pokemon I need to complete the report.

Glee is awesome, it's corny and totally abc family, but they know it and don't try to hide it. I think it's great. And they can sing! I approve.

So last night, I planned on going to bed early, cuz this weekend my sleep schedule got ridiculously messed up, but then I clicked a "recommended for you" vid on youtube and spent the next 4 hours watching Britain's Got Talent clips....fail.
But there are some crazy good people on that show. My first two pages of faves right now are just BGT. I'm going to go back later and just put them all on a playlist instead cuz that's ridickulos, haha

I'm all done packing and cleaning my apartment. I'll be moving into my new one come the first. Whoot. It'll be crazy. I'll be going from practically living by myself to living with three other girls. And the apartment we'll be moving into...well it's not smaller squarefeet wise but it is more pushed together. Should be interesting.

Last night I watched Without a Trace around 11 or 12?? Well I turn it off, with the credits song still playing, walk into the kitchen...and hear the song still playing! I look around, nothing. Then I realize it was coming from my neighbor's apt. Haha, we were watching the same show! I found that really funny yesterday.

I'm really upset about not going to japan. I realize that that was my one chance, you know. I'm never going to get that back. And realistically...I'm never going to have enough money, or have the chance to go again, I know I'm not. It's just upsetting to realize that you really do/should give up. *shrug*
It's probably not all that, I am just really lonely I think, I also realized last night that I've been basically by myself since the end of school. And will be till the end of the month and then probably the entire summer after that. And this summer, I have nothing to look forward to, I'm not doing anything.
W.E. Woes me, I should stop gripping

I got a car yesterday, it's a Dodge Stratus 2000. It's in pretty good condition, except the brakes, which are making scary screeching noises. But besides that, it's a good car. And I got a cd out of it! haha, I hit the play button on the radio, just for kicks, but then something started playing! Jake Johnson; Brushfire Lullabies or something. I like a couple of the songs on there too, so that's cool.

I drove down to Winona this morning, got here around 1, and have done almost nothing since....*sigh* OK ok, I went to target, looked at some storage stuff, went to walmart got some groceries for the week and then came home and sat around...watching tv. I should be packing and cleaning...but I'm obviously not.

Speaking of TV, NCIS and The Mentalist had their season finales tonight. Both were pretty good, although I think the NCIS one is reaching a bit with the plot line they are setting up...
The mentalist had a good finale considering it's their first season, I hope that show gets better, rather then worse, I do like it so.

Speaking of packing and cleaning. I'm moving out of this apt and into a new one. My lease for this one gets done on the 24th, and the new apt lease starts on June 1st. Which I think is a little silly, granted I've never rented an apt before so I don't know how it 'officially' works (both the places here are technically houses, that have been turned into apts). I mean were am I supposed to put all my stuff?? IDK. So I'm in a bit of a fix, trying to figure out where I'm going to put my furniture and stuff for the week I have nowhere to live...*SIGH*

PS missing people is silly. Do we really need that with our already hectic lives?

So while I was away at college, my sister decided to decorate the downstairs bathroom. It was most likely an attempt to take over more of the house then she already has. So she put up a bunch of Hawaiian locale magazine tear-outs from what looks to be a surfing mag, some magnets, one of happy bunny, some random flowery ones, and one of the Pope... on the medicine cabinet, a decorated board that spells her name in neat little art strokes, and a picture of Zac Efron. Zac Efron being pinned to the medicine cabinet by one of the previously mentioned magnets.
It wouldn't be so bad, I actually like the added lived in-esque atmosphere, except the fact that the medicine cabinet faces directly at the toilet....
Everytime I sit down I look over and there they are...just staring at me. I can't help but think about which; Zac Efron's 'make-love-to-me' eyes or the Pope's 'come-rejoice-with-me' smile that bothers me the most....Then I think about what thought just went through my head and I worry about what the new generations are coming too.
I blame Harry Potter entirely, without JK's little helpful push I never would of begun thinking about moving pictures or what the eyes therein see. Yet another daily event horribly influenced by the boy wizard phenomenon.

OMG HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILERS FOR THAT MOVIE!?!?! IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC!

Also, I am on a fairly large Mentalist kick. Teresa Lisbon is just so damn cute. I think my shoulder Conscience's have dental caries from the sugar she's exuding.

So I went to acen last weekend. That was a lot of fun, I was on IRT (acen security), it was hard but fun at the same time. The only regret was that I didn't get to spend as much time with friends as I would of liked you know...*sigh* But I'll probs still do it next year, I get a free badge and comp badges too so thats an extra cool thing.

I ended up buying practically nothing. I acquired a keychain and a button, the button is for a friend. And bought some art for my gf. My major find of the weekend:: 3 'vintage' 1977 star wars posters! They were used for some sort of burger king promotional, but from what I've seen they don't have bk any where on them and they are this neat drawn style like the covers of the novels. I totally geeked out when the sales lady showed them to me, and then the guy who owned the stand said I got a 25% discount for being staff! Awesome.

On a more lonely note, all my winona friends except like 2, are currently in Japan T_T I wanted to go on this trip so much...it hurts to hear about it. And I look forward to hearing about it when they return but at the same time I don't. I can already tell, it's going to be one of those lifelong regret kinda things...
But I miss them a bunch, in the day they've been gone I've already almost texted/imed etc a couple of them! haha.
Especially my gf, I constantly think things to send her, or want to tell her about something stupid that just happened. I figure if I can last this two weeks, the summer will be a breeze, at least then we can talk and/or exchange text.

So, I've been catching up on all the shows I've missed in the last semester. So far I'm caught up in Bones, Mentalist, NCIS, and Dollhouse. And seriously they are all trying to kill me with drama! Well...except mentalist, but this next episode is going to have enough (I keep thinking that enough has a t in it...and firefox keeps telling me I'm wrong) to make up for the lack of it in the previous fun-filled eps.
I would talk about each series, but I think this post is getting long enough! Haha

OH, I saw Wolverine and Star Trek: Both great movies, but star trek won big time, it was amazing!

And on that note, I'm watching Another Gay Movie, and it's completly ridiculous. There are some really funny parts, but mostly it just makes me want to watch American Pie....and porn. Ahaha

I'm sure in my loneliness I'll be posting again soon.

So not having a paid account is annoying. Haha the thing I miss the most is my icons though.

I had three tests this week, just got down with my Japanese test and then I have a Anatomy and a Dev Psych on friday. Woooooo. LAME. Although I've come to realize that it is much easier to actually get things down now that I live in my own place, maybe it's cuz I don't have to deal with other people commenting on my weird study methods or thats it's only my noise not other peoples. Living off campus is both great and sometimes sucks.

So I can't go to thursday night karate anymore, so sensei has me going to wendsday night adult classes, which are VERY different, but not necassarily in a bad way or anything. Sensei Fritz (adult class) just does things diff, he puts more emphasis on diff kinds of conditioning, it's interesting to say the least and hard!

For all those whom I may of told I wasn't going to acen, I now am. Although since I didn't prereg I have to pay the 50, which sucks! But oh well, I'm not going to japan any more and I'm not about to sit around when I know all my friends are in Chicago, fuck that, haha. Since I've decided to go to acen again this year, I started back up on the forums, and now I've caught con-fever hardcore! I can't wait till detour, it should be an...adventure. New hotel and all. I really hope it doesn't lose it's family-like atmosphere; the homey feeling. I'd be supa sad.
